Computer Room upgrade for Axill Europe The upgrade of Axills computer room took place within a large multi tenanted building within the London docklands area. The work had to proceed without causing excessive noise or inconvenience to the other tenants. The existing computer room area inherited by Axill Europe lacked the necessary cooling and power capacity required to support the number of racks to be installed. We developed a cost efficient scheme to increase the cooling capacity of the installation, by optimising the existing equipment and adding further computer room cooling units. The resiliency and capacity of the electrical installation was increased by reconfiguring the existing switchgear to accept a new supply cable from the roof plant area, and adding further UPS units.
