ITE Projects specialise in the design, build and ongoing maintenance of computer rooms and data centres.

Our design & projects team are based in Fleet, Hampshire, with engineers and maintenance staff located throughout the south of England .

We have constructed computer rooms, data centres & server rooms throughout Europe the UK & Ireland , that range in size from small computer rooms with up to 30 racks to large 6000 square metre data centres with 6000kVA of power via multiple supplies.

We are able to provide a cost effective design to suit the budget of our clients, including completing the project in phases to keep initial start up costs to a minimum.

ITE Projects provide a complete service, including:

• Surveys of the premises to assess suitability.
• Projects fully project managed, ensuring full co-ordination of all computer room and data centre services.
• Drawings, planning permissions and building regulations if required, including liaising with electricity boards and council planning departments.
• Computer room air conditioning and cooling, including direct expansion, chilled water and free cooling.
• Electrical services including UPS , switchgear, generator backup and transformer installation.
• Fire detection and suppression systems.
• Monitoring, including in-rack monitoring and remote fault finding and diagnostics, leak detection and security.
• Building works including raised floors, fire rated walls, doors and ceilings, outbuildings for additional services (generators, transformers etc).
• Providing a full set of record drawings and operation and maintenance manuals upon completion of the computer room or data centre, and ongoing 24 hour service and maintenance support.

ITE staff have gained a number of years experience of computer room design and build, from IBM 3090 and AS400 mainframe computers, up to todays blade servers, high capacity computer rack systems and their requisite cooling, air conditioning and power requirements.

ITE have worked with a number of consultants for whom we offer our specialised understanding of the computer and data centre design, however the majority of our work is direct for the end user and we are always happy to offer advice on any potential design, build or upgrade. We have worked with some of our original clients over the last 10 years, upgrading and expanding existing data centres and computer rooms, allowing them to continue operating with the increased power and cooling demands of modern equipment.
